At the market

We came to what could be our last Boise Farmers Market today. Simon didn't seem to care at all.

Meeting Fiona

Fiona (who leant us the swing) met Simon for the first time tonight. She is learning to be gentle with babies since she has a little cousin as well. She went straight to touching his hair then tried to grab the pacificer from him. It was very cute.

Mother's Day

We joined the Morehead Family on their Mother's Day tradition of going to the zoo on Mother's Day. This was our first trip to Zoo Boise and we were pleasantly surprised. They had giraffes, penguins and lions. Simon didn't seem to care and slept through the whole trip.


The coolest part of the day were the 'Simon themed' M&Ms that Grandma & Grandpa Scofield sent. They had pictures of Simon printed on them. Very cool. And tasty.

First bottle

Simon had his first bottle today. I got to give it to him.

In other semi-recent news we took Simon to Shoshone Falls is south central Idaho. This was one of the highest flows in the last 10 years. It was a 2.5 hour ride followed by a picnic. He did really well.



Jody also knitted Simon a great sweater that he has worn out a couple of times.

Getting Bigger!

I went to put this outfit on him last night because it is one of my favorites. It has dinosaur feet and says Daddy and me on it but it didn't even come up to his nipples. When we first brought him home his feet barely fit in fitted outfits, now he has outgrown some. We actually took a number of things out of service yesterday and had to pull the 0-3 size out of the dresser.

More Bath Time

Simon has moved up to the portable bath tub. We did it in the kitchen sink and he was remarkably calm through the whole thing. He didn't splash us or have a freak out.
