Sun Valley, ID

My friend Mark and I went to Sun Valley last weekend. I've been up there 5 or 6 times already but this the first time I skied there. WOW! I thought it was famous for being famous. It's famous for being an awesome mountain though mega-expensive. Lift tickets are $79 a day. There are fur hats, diamond studs and pearls on the slopes along with lots of botox and trophy wives though we didn't have any celebrity siteings while we were there. It's almost worth just people watching while you are up there.

Sun Valley has the longest runs I've ever done. They claim that the warm springs run drops 3400 feet. My legs were burning like I've never felt them before up there. The day we rode it there was no new snow so it was pretty tracked out. We tried one un-grommed run and it was tough, the mounds were hard packed.

Mark took the pictures on his blackberry so pardon the finger in this one. The runs behind are green groomers. They are pretty typical of the whole place.

My co-worker Jason and I are supposed to go back this weekend.
