We are going to Boise for the weekend. North of Yakima we turned onto I-82 EAST from there the GPS showed 385 miles to our next turn which is the Boise exit for our hotel. There is a lot of sagebrush between here and there.

Folks who have never been to the west, or even in west Texas, can't imagine how vast that area of the country is. I used to drive past a sign in San Antonio that read something like 292 miles to Houston and 500 something miles to El Paso and thar's in one state! Talk to you later.
