Work is crazy with the Invitational Games coming up on February 23rd. I was supposed to meet Philip in Salt Lake City this weekend however I neglected to buy a plane ticket. That meant I would have to drive which isn't a big deal when it isn't winter. I just have too much going on to risk not being in the office on Monday. I was mad at myself for not driving down on Saturday but it looks like I made the right choice since they closed the road on Sunday again.
Anyway I went to Bogus Basin today with some friends. We had 8-12 inches of powder overnight and 3 feet over the last week. It was so deep you had to close your mouth when you wrecked or you would eat huge mouthfuls of snow. I got stuck in the trees pretty bad and my exit was ugly, I had to unstrap and crawl from a gully in chest deep snow back to the trail. The only good part was that the guy I followed had to do the same thing.
Not much else to report. I've updated the map with my latest rides. I may be back in Sun Valley this week for work and if so will have to try and slip a day of riding in.

One of these days I'll learn how to ski. Then, maybe I'll move to Idaho too.
I just went boarding in VT at Stratton last weekend, and I had a blast. Took a private lesson first, and that was a great call. By the end of the day I was riding the lifts and keeping things controlled. I had no idea it was that fun! Now I'm actually jealous of the move.
