It's official, we've survived two years of parenthood. Although this next year may prove to be the biggest challenge, if recent attitudes are any indication of what's to come during the 'terrible two's'. Seriously, I now know that children are put on earth to teach patience...
Anyway, we had a lovely birthday weekend with Grandma and Uncle Nick visiting. There were special trips to the playground followed by a stop at the coffee shop for cupcakes, a visit to the Seattle Aquarium and a ride on the carousel (I don't want to get off!),
plus dinner at Elliott's Oyster House on the pier,
and finally a trip to The Museum of Flight to see Simon's beloved JETS!
We topped it all off with a wonderful meal, and of course, CAKE!
Oh, and let's not forget the presents. Boy did he score! In addition to numerous wonderful presents, Simon got a train table complete with a two level train, AND a fabulous art easel with a magnetic white board, a chalk board and space for paper to draw and paint. He's mesmerized with all of his new things.
Happy Birthday sweet boy.
